*Was this the way to console a housewife suffering from the alcoholic addiction of her husband?
*Was this not a crude joke to arouse laughter?
*Was he supporting alcoholism?
*The woman might have approached Swamiji thinking that he had some magical powers, to wean away her husband from alcohol. If Swamiji was unable to help, he could have remained silent.
