Vivekananda Statue to adorn Bangalore City Square soon
Here is a link to a blog at blogspot which informs readers that Bengaluru City is going to have a bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda, 9.5 ft. tall and weighing a ton, costing Rs. 25 lacs plus. The Governor has laid the foundation stone.

I have tried to write a mild comment there, but since they have deleted it as a part of their moderation (they have a perfect right to do), I am writing my comments here.
BLOGGER'S VIEWS
*By the side of the statue, they can append a bronze turtle of 2 ft. height, and keep in his hand a bronze basket of 2 ft. height, containing shad fish, so that true ambience is reflected.
*Monks and politicians have one thing in common. They tend to be lavish in spending people's money bronzes and marbles.
